15 Dec 2025 Announcement - Notice of OTP Delays on 2nd Jan 2026
SPRS users can expect potential delays in SMS OTP delivery on 2nd Jan 2026, as the SMS OTP delivery system will be experiencing a heavier load due to scheduled activities. Users are advised to access SPRS before or after this date to avoid the delays, or use email OTP instead if unable to receive SMS OTPs.
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

To upload XML file
In the “Make
a New Submission” page,
click ‘Upload XML’ to select a valid XML file, and click ‘Populate to Form’ to
populate the XML data to the online form.
12-Aug-2025 Important Notice: Changes to OTP Services for Mobile Numbers (Starting With +86)
We have observed that SMS One-Time Password (OTP) services are no longer available for mobile numbers starting with +86 (country code for China) and may continue to remain unavailable.
What this means for users:
- SMS OTP services are unavailable for mobile numbers starting with +86
- Email OTP remains available for login and password reset functions
- Other functions such as new user registration requiring SMS verification may be affected

System Update: 2FA Implementation for Non-Singpass Users
Effective 13th October 2024, non-Singpass users logging into the SPRS Portal will be required to complete two-factor authentication (2FA).
In addition to your USER ID and password, an SMS OTP will be needed for login.
Once logged in, the following functionalities can be accessed without requiring additional SMS OTP:
- Manage delegation
- My profile
- Change password
- Deactivate account
This update enhances security and improves ease of access to the portal.
